Estimation / QS Engineer

Job Description:

• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to accurately determine project scope and requirements.

• Perform precise quantity take-offs for all civil work items.

• Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and comprehensive bid proposals.

• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of unit rates and historical project data.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to validate estimates and clarify requirements.

• Assess project risks for tenders and incorporate appropriate contingencies.

• Support contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns.

• Ensure all estimation activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.

• Prepare and present clear estimation reports to management for review and approval.

• Stay updated on market trends, technologies, and pricing to enhance estimation accuracy.
