NOP Commerce Technical lead
Job Description:
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced NOP Commerce Technical Lead to drive our
ongoing e-commerce platform upgrade and transformation initiatives. This role will
be pivotal in upgrading NOP Commerce from 4.5 to 4.7, integrating Amazon and
payment systems, implementing GA4, enhancing shipping/logistics, developing
CRM/ERP plugins, and optimizing performance.
Looking ahead, the platform will be transitioned into a SaaS-based solution to remain
competitive against industry-leading proprietary and third-party e-commerce platforms.
The selected candidate will play a critical leadership role in ensuring seamless
upgrades, robust integrations, improved performance, and enterprise-grade security.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the upgrade of NOP Commerce from version 4.5 to 4.7, ensuring backward
compatibility and minimal disruption.
Design and develop custom plugins (payments, shipping, reporting, accounting)
and custom themes with smooth upgrade pathways.
Architect and implement scalable solutions aligned with future
SaaS/microservices adoption.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring
adherence to coding standards and architectural best practices.
Drive API integrations with Amazon Ads, Seller Central, Google Ads, Microsoft
Ads, CRMs, ERPs, shipping workflows, and multiple payment gateways.
Manage cloud infrastructure (Azure), including Redis cache, session
management, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, integrate SonarQube for code
analysis, and ensure secure coding practices.
Conduct load testing and performance optimization for high-traffic e-
commerce systems.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and QA to ensure
timely and successful delivery.
