Position:         Officer/Executive - Design & Development

Location:        Dabhel - Daman

Experience:     2 - 3 Years

Industries:      Pharma 

Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting
• Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings for pharmaceutical equipment, piping layouts, utility systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Design customized components and assemblies as per process requirements and GMP norms.
• Equipment & Facility Development
• Collaborate with process, production, and maintenance teams to understand equipment needs and translate them into workable designs.
• Support the modification and upgradation of existing equipment and layouts for capacity enhancement or process improvement.
• Assist in new equipment development and pilot plant setup.
• Project Coordination
• Coordinate with vendors and fabricators for the development and fabrication of designed equipment.
• Review and validate mechanical drawings and designs to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure all design work complies with relevant GMP, FDA, WHO, and engineering standards.
• Maintain accurate design documentation, drawing archives, and design change control records.
• Innovation & Value Engineering
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and functionality.
• Evaluate and recommend design improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and SolidWorks
• Good understanding of pharma manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts
• Knowledge of GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Required Qualification:-  B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
