Accountant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1) Accounting Operations:

• Record day-to-day accounting entries and maintain the general ledger in Zoho Accounting.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including billing and invoicing processes.

• Perform bank reconciliations and record bank transactions accurately.

• Ensure timely finalisation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.

2) Compliance & Taxation:

• Handle GST and TDS calculations, return filings, and ensure timely payments.

• Maintain statutory compliance records and coordinate with auditors or consultants as needed.

3) Payroll & HR Coordination:

• Assist in payroll processing, including statutory deductions and compliance.

• Maintain employee expense records and ensure accurate reimbursements.

4) Collections & Client Communication:

• Follow up with clients for payment collections and update receivables.

• Maintain strong communication with clients to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of accounting experience with B.com/M.com

• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting Software.

• In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.

• Experience in finalization of accounts and preparing financial statements.

• Proficient in MS Excel
