Position:          Assembly Incharge

Location:         Vapi

Experience:     1 - 2  Years

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the assembly team, coordinating workloads and ensuring productions chedules are met with quality and safety compliance.
• Supervise the assembly of telecommunication and networking products, ensuring components are correctly assembled as per specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor daily production performance, including throughput, quality standards, and adherence to timelines.
• Ensure team members follow company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards, including 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Train and develop assembly staff, providing guidance, coaching, and skill development to optimize performance.
• Communicate production goals, provide regular feedback, and motivate the team to meet or exceed targets.
• Troubleshoot assembly line issues, collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process problems.
• Maintain proper documentation of production data, quality checks, and reports for review by management.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to increase productivity, reduce defects, and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage attendance and discipline within the team, handle personnel issues, and support HR policies on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and engineering for smooth production flow and resolution of issues.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and pilot runs in the assembly area.
• Take ownership of safety compliance and promote a safe working environment.
