Accounts and Audit Officer
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage daily accounting tasks, ensure financial accuracy, and support compliance and audit processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance, and cash flow tracking.
Handle audits, reconciliations (bank, vendor, and inter-company), and preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., Ind AS/GAAP) and statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation, responding to queries, and implementing audit recommendations.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, ensuring data integrity and timely updates in accounting systems.
Requirements/Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing practices, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems (e.g., SAP or QuickBooks), and MS Excel for advanced reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements.
