Purchase Executive

Job Description:

Position Purpose:

To ensure uninterrupted procurement operations through timely
sourcing and vendor management. The role will support cost-effective
purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards. This
replacement is critical to sustain smooth functioning of the Purchase
Department in absence of the current incumbent.

Job Description:

• Manage end-to-end procurement cycle for raw materials,
trims, and services.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure
quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.
• Prepare, release, and track Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier database.
• Coordinate with accounts, quality, and logistics teams for
smooth operations.
• Follow up on shipments, resolve delays, and ensure adherence
to timelines.
• Assist in developing procurement reports, MIS, and cost
analysis
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and
applicable standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the
procurement process

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in supply chain management,
preferably in Textiles/Apparels
• Business Administration, or a related field, will be additional
advantage.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply
chain.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement documentation and ERP
systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.

• Ability to work under pressure with a proactive and problem-
solving mindset.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
