Location : Surat
The Head of E-commerce is a resilient, resoned and execution-driven leader responsible for building and scaling a high-performing direct-to-consumer (D2C) digital business. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics while embedding innovation at scale. The leader will drive end-to-end transformation—integrating customer experience, cutting-edge technology, automation, and AI—to deliver profitable growth and a world-class digital journey. They will own P&L accountability, balance speed of execution with sustainable growth levers, and ensure operational agility across marketing, technology, logistics, and customer touchpoints. With a strong technology backbone and comfort with data-driven decision-making, this leader will ensure the business not only scales but continuously innovates in a competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: · Spearhead the D2C e-commerce roadmap aligned with the brand's growth ambitions. · Drive digital transformation by integrating customer experience, technology, and operations. · Define and monitor KPIs related to e-commerce growth, conversion, CAC/LTV, and retention. P&L Ownership: · Manage and optimize the full e-commerce P&L including revenues, costs, and profitability. · Identify levers for scale while balancing margins, logistics costs, and marketing spends. Team Building & Collaboration: · Lead a cross-functional team of 10-15+ members across performance marketing, UI/UX, analytics, content, tech, and operations. · Build internal capability while managing agency and tech partner relationships. Customer Experience: · Deliver a frictionless, delightful, and premium online buying experience for high-value jewellery shoppers. · Leverage analytics to track customer journeys and improve NPS and repeat purchase rates. Digital Marketing & Tech Integration: · Drive performance marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social, influencer) with ROI-focused planning. · Own CRM, personalization, and re-targeting strategies to increase LTV. · Work with tech teams to implement robust e-commerce platforms and analytics dashboards. Business & Operational Excellence: · Ensure inventory visibility, logistics integration, and seamless order fulfillment. · Introduce new digital products and D2C offerings in alignment with customer trends. |

Experience bracket: · 8-10 years of e-commerce experience, including 5+ years in D2C leadership roles. · Domain expertise in jewellery, fashion, luxury, or high-ticket lifestyle brands. · Proven track record of delivering profitable online business scale. Mindset & Culture Fit: · Entrepreneurial, agile, customer-obsessed, and performance-oriented. · Comfortable in structured environments but thrives on innovation and transformation. · Willing to relocate to Surat to work closely with the brand and leadership. |
Qualifications and Education Requirements |
A Bachelors degree or a Masters Degree in either Business, Marketing, or Technology is required. |
