PROCESS SUPERVISOR FOR METAL INDUSTRY - TUBULAR POLES/HIGH MAST - TILDA , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

The Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing production processes to ensure smooth operations, adherence to quality standards, and timely output. The role involves supervising operators, monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting issues, and enforcing safety and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Process Management

• Monitor daily production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.

• Maintain control over process parameters, equipment settings, and raw material usage.

• Troubleshoot process deviations and coordinate corrective actions.

• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

🔹 Team Supervision

• Supervise production operators and assign daily tasks.

• Provide training on process operations, safety, and quality standards.

• Conduct shift handovers and maintain communication with other shifts and departments.

• Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of team members.

🔹 Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, ISO, and other relevant standards.

• Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with the Quality Control team.

• Maintain proper documentation of batch records and process data.

• Participate in internal and external audits.

🔹 Safety & Housekeeping

• Enforce safety protocols and the use of PPE.

• Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with 5S principles.

🔹 Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily production reports and escalate issues to management.

• Maintain accurate process logs and documentation.

• Track and report KPIs such as yield, downtime, and defect rates.

Qualifications:

Education:

• ITI (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrument Mechanic) – Minimum

• Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, or Industrial Engineering – Preferred

Experience:

• 2-5 years in a process or production supervisory role.

• Experience in process control, troubleshooting, and team management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing/process operations.

• Ability to interpret process parameters and SOPs.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP).

• Knowledge of safety and quality standards (GMP, ISO).
