1. Buffing Engineer
    

• Designation: Up to Senior Executive
• Location: Maroli
• Education: Diploma / B.E. - B.Tech  - Mechanical\
• Experience: 5 to 7 years experience in Buffing division of any heavy manufacturing, industrial kitchen utensil manufacturers
• Budget: Up to 9 LPA

• Surface Preparation & Finishing
• Oversee buffing, polishing, and finishing processes to achieve required surface smoothness, shine, or texture.
• Ensure correct use of buffing wheels, abrasives, and polishing compounds.

• Develop and maintain buffing process parameters (speed, pressure, time, and materials).
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects (scratches, uneven finish, burns) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions for any deviations in finishing quality.

• Supervise operators and buffing workers to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
• Train workers on machine handling, safety, and polishing techniques.
• Schedule and allocate work to meet production targets.

• Monitor buffing machines, tools, and equipment for wear and tear.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of buffing systems.
• Enforce workplace safety standards (dust control, protective equipment,).

• Optimize buffing methods to reduce rework, material waste, and cycle time.
• Introduce new abrasives, compounds, or technologies to improve productivity.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to improve finishing efficiency.

• Report daily production, rejections, and process improvements to management.

• Collaborate with design, production, and quality departments for product requirements.
• Support new product development trials by defining buffing and finishing methods.
