Job Summary


The Company  is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with a balanced skill set across both manual and automation testing. This role is ideal for someone who has strong automation
expertise but is equally comfortable and willing to work on manual testing when required.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality by designing, executing,and maintaining both manual and automated test strategies. You will work closely with product
managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable
software solutions.


Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Develop and execute API tests using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
• Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, test results, and quality metrics.


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing with a mix of manual and automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java.
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development lifecycle.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance manual and automation testing responsibilities effectively.

Good to Have
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
