Job Description:

Position:          Asst. Manager - Maintenance

Location:         Sarigam nearby Vapi

Experience:     8 - 12 Years

Industries:      Chemical 

 

Responsibilities:        

  • Manage the maintenance department that provides technical, project management, emergency response, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance support for process related equipment. Develop, maintain, and justify the departments' budgets

  • Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance on facility equipment to support facility-operating requirements boilers, chillers, environmental plans, reports and permits in compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations and state and regulatory laws.
  • Work closely with manufacturing departments to ensure production equipment is maintained on consistent basis.
  • Provides leadership and support for 10 – 15 applications, all of which are important with several being mission critical.
  • RCM Support (PM initiatives, departmental meetings, cycle counts, spare parts inventory)
  • Maintenance Operations (Budget, daily management, communication, reduce machine downtime and improve machine reliability)
  • Lean Implementation (Continuous improvement, 5S, GEMBA walks)
  • Training and leadership of employees in a participative, continuous improvement environment
  • Improve Maintenence quality standards and Facilitate all maintenance projects in site
  • Coordinate and schedule work order for equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance and facilities management for the site
  • Reduce equipment downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness within the site.
  • Supervise and train maintenance and custodial teams, conduct timely performance reviews, hold regularly scheduled shift meetings Maintain productivity standards by providing metrics surrounding key performance indicators
  • Develop and manage department budget and manage all financial aspects of the department including capital project estimates and Payroll
  • Measure, monitor, track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure attainment of maintenance objectives.
  • Knowledge of GLR, SSR , CSTR , centrifuge , FBD, RVPD , Heat Tracing , Cooling Tower , Pump , Compressor , tanks , vessels , Piopelines , Chiller , Boiler, MVR, ETP etc maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Boiler Efficiency management & Boiler Operation Improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, CAD/3D Modeling, SAP, Reliability centric Software (Meridium).

  • Contract management knowledge desired.
  • Knowledge of RCA , FEMA or Failure Analysis of the Equipments.

Required Qualification: -  B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: -  Upto 12.00 LPA
