A Liaison Person (or Officer) serves as a primary point of contact and facilitator between two or more organizations, departments, or individuals to coordinate activities, foster collaboration, and ensure effective communication. Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with external parties, representing the organization at meetings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment between different groups' goals and operations. Essential skills for this role are exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities, along with a strong understanding of the industry and regulatory environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination with Government Bodies:

    • Work with DIC, Pollution Control Board, Electrical Department, and other authorities for approvals and renewals.

  2. Documentation Handling:

    • Manage licenses, permits, NOCs, and compliance documentation.

  3. Approval Management:

    • Ensure timely approvals for industrial operations (e.g., CTE, CTO, power connections).

  4. Government Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and local authorities.

  5. Representation Duties:

    • Represent the company during inspections, audits, and official meetings.
