Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive, build, and support the continual improvement (CI) program across the site.
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of productivity and cost-optimization projects.
  • Provide coaching and training to site teams on CI tools, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Facilitate collaboration within the CI community and promote cross-learning across functions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through a systematic, data-driven approach and align with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure effectiveness of the entire improvement cycle – from opportunity identification to implementation and sustainability.
  • Use and analyze data effectively to define and deliver improvement opportunities across all site functions.
  • Monitor performance, prepare reports, lead productivity review meetings, and guide teams on Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Drive improvements in operational performance, standards, and capability building.
  • Lead and promote governance around CI modules such as Tier Reviews, LSW (Leader Standard Work), 5S, VSM, etc.
  • Ensure CI practices are embedded and sustained through balanced deployment aligned with global standards.

Required Skills & Know-How:

  • Strong command of spoken and written English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of chemical processes such as reaction controls, drying, blending, and mixing.
  • Proficiency in business and analytical tools (MS Office, PowerPoint, Minitab).
  • In-depth knowledge of CI project execution at plant level, including Lean, Six Sigma, and productivity methodologies.
  • Proven ability to coach, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
