About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (Team
Lead) to lead our international business development efforts. This role involves
generating qualified leads, setting up high-value appointments, and building strong
pipelines in the international market (US, UK, Europe, APAC, etc.). The ideal
candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in B2B lead generation and a
passion for driving growth through strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage a small team of BDMs while also being hands-on in individual
contributions.
Identify and engage potential clients in international markets through email
campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.
Set up qualified appointments and meetings for the sales or senior leadership team.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine messaging and outreach
strategies.
Track and report key metrics including number of leads generated, appointments
set, and pipeline development.
Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to identify new business
opportunities.
Mentor, train, and support junior BDMs to achieve team targets.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales in
international markets.
Strong leadership capabilities with prior experience managing a small BDM or sales
team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
Experience with outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email, and phone.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and detail-oriented.
