About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Unit Head to lead hospital operations, drive business growth, and ensure excellence in patient care and service delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day hospital functions, implementing quality and NABH standards, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all clinical and non-clinical departments including Nursing, HR, Billing, IT, Facilities, and Administration.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations through effective SOP implementation.
  • Maintain NABH and quality compliance standards across all functions.
  • Conduct regular performance and review meetings with departmental heads.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase patient inflow and brand visibility.
  • Establish and manage corporate tie-ups, TPAs, and referral networks.
  • Drive digital marketing, community outreach programs, CMEs, and health camps.
  • Monitor ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize campaigns.

🎯 Strategic Leadership

  • Support management in long-term business planning and service expansion.
  • Achieve operational excellence while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Represent the hospital at public, corporate, and medical forums.

  • Lead and mentor departmental heads and teams to build a performance-driven culture.
  • Define KPIs/KRAs and ensure regular monitoring and feedback.
  • Oversee staff training and development for service quality improvement.

  • Achievement of monthly and annual financial targets.
  • NABH audit and compliance scores.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: MBA / PGDM (Marketing / Healthcare Management) or MHA.
  • Experience: 12–18 years in hospital operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Preferred Background: Exposure to both operations and business development in healthcare.
