Warping/Winding Operator

Job Description:

1. Purpose of the Job
To warp all wires onto a beam for the subsequent drawing-in operation and rewind wires from large spools onto smaller ones, strictly following instructions, deadlines, and product safety procedures.

2. Main Activities
Prepare the warping machine and conduct thorough self-checks.
Wind wires onto a warping beam according to the schedule and work instructions.
Prepare the respooling machine to rewind wire from large spools onto smaller ones.
Make basic machine adjustments as instructed.
Record all production results.
Complete quality monitoring records.
Perform first-level maintenance tasks as instructed.
Carry out simple tasks in other company positions as needed.

3. Skills and Knowledge
Warping / Winding Expertise: Professional knowledge of the warping/winding operations.
Technical Dexterity: Dexterity in handling and knotting threads with good visual acuity.
Measurement: Ability to use appropriate measuring tools.
Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge of first-level measuring principles.
Certification: Authorisation to operate a pedestrian stacker truck (if applicable to the role).

4. Responsibility and Scope
Successfully carry out assigned tasks within own scope and follow company procedures.
Work in compliance with all instructions, escalating difficulties to the supervisor.
Produce compliant products through self-checks.
Contribute to company safety; everyone involved / everyone responsible.
