Tender Manager

Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Tender Manager with a strong background in tender documentation and bid management for civil engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing tender submissions while ensuring compliance with client requirements, timelines, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete tendering process from identification of opportunities to final submission.

• Prepare and review tender documentation, bid proposals, technical submissions, and commercial documents.

• Analyze tender documents including BOQ, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimation, and finance teams for inputs required in tender submissions.

• Ensure compliance with tender requirements, formats, and submission deadlines.

• Prepare pre-qualification documents, EOI (Expression of Interest), and RFP responses.

• Maintain records of tender submissions, bid status, and documentation.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and clarify technical/commercial queries with clients.

• Identify project risks and support management with bid strategy and pricing inputs.

• Track tender portals and procurement platforms for new opportunities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in tender documentation and bid preparation for civil projects.

• Knowledge of contract conditions, BOQ analysis, and project specifications.

• Familiarity with government and private sector tendering procedures.

• Excellent documentation, coordination, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under strict deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tender portals.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E – Civil)
