Job Description:

An induction wad vented machine operator is responsible for operating machinery that inserts and seals vented induction liners into bottle caps. Vented liners are used for products that need to "breathe" or are prone to releasing gases, ensuring the seal remains intact without causing bottles to bloat or collapse. 

• Machine operation: Run automatic or semi-automatic machines that sort, orient, insert, and seal vented induction wads into caps for various types of containers.
• Setup and changeovers: Prepare the machine for production by adjusting settings, changing parts, and calibrating the equipment based on product specifications, such as cap and liner size.
• Quality control: Conduct regular visual and physical inspections of seals and wads to ensure proper alignment, adhesion, and overall product quality. Reject any non-conforming caps.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor the machine for any malfunctions, jams, or other operational issues. Diagnose problems and make basic adjustments or repairs to ensure a continuous production flow.
• Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and making minor repairs, to maintain its efficiency and operational readiness.
• Documentation: Accurately record and document production data, including output, downtime, and quality checks, in production logs or batch records.
• Inventory management: Ensure the machine is supplied with the correct materials (caps and wads) and assist with tracking material usage.
• Safety compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and industry safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
