A. Purpose /Role of the job /: Describe in 1 phrase what contribution the job is expected to make

 To ensure that quality standards and procedure are met and aligned with legislation and
customer specification. This individual is responsible for managing the origination quality
assurance policies and controlling new product development processes.
To ensure will also establish performance standards, procedure, and audit control on order to
meet

 Business requirement, as well as identify and implement process improvements to increase the
efficiency, effectiveness and quality of company operations in safe environment.

1. Key Result Areas: Incoming materials (RM/additives, etc.) Quality clearance
Major Activities :
1. To check, testing reports & verified with specification as per Inspection plan
2. To give the quality clearance, for the use in production.
Outcome:
To monitor the quality of the Incoming material
2. Key Result Areas: In process materials (Base rubber, Graft rubber etc.) Quality clearance
Major Activities :

1. To check, testing reports & verified with specification as per Inspection plan
2. To, give the quality clearance, for the use in production.

Outcome:
To monitor the quality of the In process materials
3. Key Result Areas: Final product ABS/SAN/PS quality clearance.
Major Activities :
1. To check, on line quality reports & verified with standard specification
2. Also check the physical inspection of the final product & coordination with
production dept. for the clearance last 24 hrs. production
3. Give the quality clearance, for the material dispatch.
4. Discussion with production Head related to quality issues on daily basis.
5. Additional customer required testing done at R&D.
Outcome:
To maintain the quality of the In process material, final product & reducing the customer
complain.
4. Key Result Areas: Control of inspection measuring & Test equipment’s.
Major Activities :
1. To, maintain the internal calibration status of the equipment’s as per the
calibration plan.
2. Follow up for the AMC & external calibration of the lab equipment’s with the
vendors/external agencies.
Outcome: For Better accuracy in Test results.
5. Key Result Areas : Quality, Environment & safety (QES) system
Major Activities
1.Maintaining the Quality Management system (ISO-9001: 2008)
2.Maintaining Environment Management system (ISO-14001:2004)

Outcome: Maintaining system as per ISO
Maintaining safe & environment friendly working system
6. Key Result Areas: SAP activities
Major Activities :
1. SAP data entries for Raw Material / In process samples / Finished product
samples
2. To, Maintain Master data for the QM module
3. If required, providing the COA to the marketing.

Outcome:
SAP provides the smooth running system.
We can trace out QA data.

F. Required profile:
Level of education & Knowledge:

 M.Tech or Masters In Chemistry

Experience in general:
 10-15 years’ work experience in a similar Industry(Polymer or Petrochemical )

Technical skills:
 Working knowledge of Chemical process/polymer Laboratory and product development.
 Knowledge of Critical Laboratory equipment.
Competencies, Behavioral skills: (acc. to competency profile and required level of descriptions)

G. Performance indicators: Describe the criteria allowing to measure to what extent the results
