Salary Range: Up to ₹1,00,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

We are seeking a dynamic, technically strong, and result-oriented Plant Head to lead our entire manufacturing unit. The role requires an individual who can manage end-to-end plant operations, drive productivity, ensure quality excellence, and maintain harmony across all departments.

Position Overview:

The Plant Head will act as the “Whole and Soul” of the Plant, responsible for overseeing all functions — Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Safety, and Administration.
This is a core leadership position that demands a strong technical background in Aluminium Die Casting, sound managerial capabilities, and the ability to handle a large team efficiently.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Production Management

• Plan, organize, and direct production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

• Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials.

• Review production reports and implement corrective measures for deviations.

• Monitor machine loading, cycle time, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and scrap levels.

• Implement lean manufacturing techniques, 5S, and process optimization initiatives.

2. Quality Control and Assurance

• Ensure adherence to ISO/TS quality standards and customer specifications.

• Conduct regular audits for in-process, incoming, and final quality inspections.

• Collaborate with the QA team to resolve customer complaints, rejections, and deviations.

• Drive root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) implementation.

• Maintain zero-defect and zero-rework culture across all production lines.

3. Maintenance and Technical Management

• Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for all die-casting and machining equipment.

• Ensure proper upkeep of tools, dies, and machinery for uninterrupted operations.

• Monitor utility systems (air compressors, furnaces, hydraulic systems, etc.).

• Work closely with maintenance engineers to reduce downtime and increase equipment life.

• Suggest technical improvements for energy efficiency and machine productivity.

4. Human Resource & Administration

• Oversee HR operations including recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, and grievance handling.

• Ensure discipline, safety, and teamwork among staff and operators.

• Conduct regular training programs for skill enhancement and performance improvement.

• Motivate and lead the team towards achieving company goals.

• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

5. Supply Chain & Coordination

• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch teams for material availability and timely delivery.

• Ensure inventory control and cost optimization in raw materials and consumables.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and management for smooth operational flow.

6. Reporting & Strategic Planning

• Report plant performance, productivity metrics, and financial summaries to top management.

• Participate in strategic decision-making regarding expansion, automation, and process improvement.

• Prepare annual budgets, manpower plans, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and environmental norms.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

• Additional certifications in Production Management / Quality Systems will be an advantage.

Experience:

• 10–20 years of experience in Aluminium Die Casting / Pressure Die Casting industry, with at least 5 years in a Plant Head / Operations Head role.

Technical Expertise:

• Hands-on knowledge of die-casting machines (hot chamber & cold chamber), trimming, fettling, machining, and polishing processes.

• Strong understanding of die maintenance, tool room activities, and casting parameters.

• Sound knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO/TS 16949, PPAP, FMEA, and SPC tools.

• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and production management tools.
