Team Lead - Safety Assurance

Job Description:

• Implement and monitor process safety management (PSM) and occupational health & safety (OHS) systems.

• Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HIRA, JSA, LOPA) and ensure mitigation plans are in place.

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations (Factory Act, PESO, GPCB, etc.).

• Develop and conduct safety training for employees, contractors, and new joiners.

• Carry out incident and accident investigations, prepare reports, and ensure corrective/preventive actions.

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and behavioral safety observations.

• Ensure the availability, inspection, and maintenance of PPEs, safety equipment, and fire protection systems.

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and EHS teams for safe work practices and permit systems.

• Support implementation of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards.

• Prepare monthly safety performance reports and track leading/lagging safety indicators.
