Job Description:

• API Integration and Configuration:

  • Integrate and configure instrumentation devices and control systems to communicate with other systems and platforms using various APIs (RESTful, SOAP, etc.).
  • Ensure proper data exchange and functionality between integrated systems.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to API connectivity, data transfer, and communication errors within instrumentation systems.
  • Utilize API testing tools and techniques to identify and rectify problems.
• System Maintenance and Updates:

  • Perform routine maintenance on instrumentation systems, including updates and patches related to API functionalities.
  • Ensure API security protocols are implemented and maintained.
• Data Management and Analysis:

  • Monitor data flow and integrity between instrumentation and other systems via APIs.
  • Support data extraction and reporting from instrumentation systems using API calls.
• Documentation and Collaboration:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of API integrations, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Collaborate with software developers, control engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize API usage and system performance.
• Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all API integrations and data exchanges comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and data privacy policies.
