Packaging Supervisor
Job Description
The Packaging Supervisor oversees daily packaging operations to ensure products are packed efficiently, safely, and according to company standards. This role involves managing packaging staff, maintaining quality control, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing workflow in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise packaging operations: Monitor day-to-day packaging activities to ensure timely and accurate packaging of products.
Staff management: Schedule, train, and manage packaging employees, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
Inventory coordination: Monitor packaging material levels and coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams to maintain adequate supplies.
Documentation & Reporting: Day to day reporting and to Maintain accurate records of production output, staff performance, materials usage, and incidents.
Equipment management: Ensure packaging machinery is properly maintained and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or upgrades.
Work Environment:

May work in shifts, including evenings or weekends, depending on the production schedule.
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, or a related field preferred)
•
Familiarity with packaging machinery and tools and ready to work in production and packaging process.
