Senior Merchandiser

Job Description:

• Product development: 

  Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including sampling, fabric selection, costing, and final production. 

   
• Supplier and buyer management: 

  Serve as the main point of contact, coordinating with buyers and suppliers on order specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules. 

   
• Costing and negotiation: 

  Manage the costing process, negotiate prices with suppliers, and ensure profitability targets are met. 

   
• Trend analysis: 

  Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform product assortment and strategy. 

   
• Quality and delivery: 

  Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time by coordinating with the production team and conducting inspections. 

   
• Time and action (T&A) planning: 

  Prepare and follow a detailed Time and Action calendar to keep the entire process on track. 

   
• Strategic leadership: 

  Develop and implement overall merchandising strategies that align with company goals. 

   
• Team management: 

  Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals.
