Merchandiser (Sr.)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Merchandiser to handle end-to-end merchandising operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and proven experience in managing product planning, inventory, and coordination—preferably within the jewellery or retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete merchandising cycle—from product planning to final delivery.

• Analyze sales performance and forecast inventory requirements accordingly.

• Coordinate with design, production, and retail teams for timely product availability.

• Plan product assortments and ensure the right mix based on consumer trends and demand.

• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to manage purchase orders and timelines.

• Monitor inventory movement, stock replenishment, and product categorization.

• Prepare MIS reports, sales analysis, and product performance summaries.

• Collaborate with marketing teams for new collection launches and promotions.

• Ensure visual merchandising standards and product displays are maintained.

• Lead and mentor junior merchandisers for smooth workflow execution.

Requirements:

• Qualification: Graduate in Fashion, Retail Management, or related field.

• Experience: 3–4 years in merchandising (preferably in jewellery, fashion, or luxury retail).

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP tools, and inventory management systems.

• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

• Ability to handle multiple product lines and manage vendor relationships.

• Attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
