Job Description:

 Position:        Manager - QSHE

Location:        Umbergaon

Experience:     7 - 10 Years

Industry :       Plastic

Responsibilities:

  • Safety and health
  • Risk assessment and management: Conducts regular risk assessments, safety audits, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Incident investigation: Leads investigations for serious accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine the root cause, recommend corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Emergency response: Develops and updates emergency response plans, ensuring staff are trained to respond effectively to crises.
  • Compliance monitoring: Ensures full compliance with national and international occupational safety and health legislation.
  • Training and awareness: Develops and delivers safety-related training, inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for all employees.

  • Environment
  • Environmental impact evaluation: Monitors and manages environmental performance metrics like waste disposal, emissions, and resource usage.
  • Sustainability initiatives: Oversees environmental sustainability programs to reduce the company's ecological footprint.
  • Legal compliance:Confirms that all environmental activities and policies comply with relevant legislation.
  • Quality
  • System management: Develops, implements, and maintains the Quality Management System (QMS), often based on international standards like BRC.
  • Quality control: Oversees quality control processes, audits, and inspections to ensure that products and services meet established standards.
  • Corrective action: Leads quality improvement projects, investigates non-conformances, and implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Supplier quality: Coordinates with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and outsourced products. 
  • Customer quality : Coordinates with customers for quality complaints
  • Integrated management systems
  • Policy development: Establishes, implements, and maintains the SHEQ policy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • System integration: Ensures that the SHEQ management system (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is effectively established, implemented, and continually improved.
  • Reporting: Tracks and analyzes SHEQ performance data, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • External audits: Prepares for and manages external audits related to SHEQ certifications.

Required Skills:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to motivate cross-functional teams and promote an positive SHEQ culture.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex SHEQ policies and reports to all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-solving: A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to investigate incidents, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail for conducting audits, inspections, and compliance checks.

 

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Plastic/MBA

Salary :- Upto 10.00 LPA
