Position : HR Manager

Location : Ahmedabad (Navratna Corporate Park)
Working Days : 1st & 3rd Saturday off
Working Time : 9:30AM to 6:30 PM
Canteen Facility : YES

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and local regulations.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent across all functions. To include:
- Recruitment and Selection
- Employee Onboarding
- Employee Leave & Attendance
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll programs in alignment with market benchmarks and legal requirements.
- Perform the full Payroll payment preparation/admin function
- Manage, coordinate and administer employee benefits
- Write and implement HR Programs, Policies & Procedures.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Champion employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Coordinate and administer exit interviews.
- Play a leading role in implementing Global HR initiatives that serve to improve HR efficiency and promote the Core Values of the business.
- Serve as super user on the Oracle HCM HIRS.
- Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders on HR matters.
- Lead organizational change initiatives and support leadership development.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including legal counsel, recruitment agencies, and government bodies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the VP, Human Resources – IS.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience in running payroll and managing payroll compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of TDS/GST/IMPEX Procedures as well as knowledge of local HR rules and labour law compliance in Gujarat state.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Experience navigating in a matrix-work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Proven experience in managing HR functions in a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.
- Certification in labor law or HR management (e.g., SHRM, CIPD).
- Fluency in Hindi and/or Gujarati.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector.
