Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Savings & Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement opportunities across operations.
- Drive cost optimization and efficiency improvement projects.
- Lead and mentor project teams (Black Belt, Green Belt, Yellow Belt) in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Audit, track, and validate project outcomes and financial savings with the Finance team.
- Maintain dashboards and MIS for project monitoring and reporting.
- TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Deployment
- Lead the implementation of TPM across the site in alignment with the corporate roadmap.
- Support and guide respective TPM pillar teams to ensure timely progression.
- Train operators and plant personnel in TPM tools such as Small Group Activities (SGA), Quality Circles, and Autonomous Maintenance.
- Collaborate with external consultants for TPM audits, assessments, and capability development.
- Benchmark and implement best practices across the plant.
- Report TPM MIS to Head Office and drive corrective actions on deviations.
- Operational Excellence & Lean Management
- Promote a culture of Lean and Six Sigma across the plant.
- Apply process re-engineering, waste elimination, and value stream mapping to improve efficiency.
- Drive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), utility consumption, and waste reduction.
- Support Capex and Opex planning and monitor execution throughout the year.
- Conduct regular reviews (daily, weekly, monthly) to track and ensure progress on key initiatives.
- Define, implement, and monitor KRAs & KPIs aligned with business goals.
- Organizational Change Management & Culture Building
- Lead the plant’s cultural transformation and change management initiatives.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to enhance ownership and participation.
- Facilitate Lean and Six Sigma training for various departments to build internal capabilities.
- Drive competency development plans across levels and functions.
- Develop and execute a Rewards & Recognition framework to sustain excellence efforts.
- Bottleneck Identification & Resource Optimization
- Conduct audits of supply chain and production systems to identify bottlenecks.
- Analyze and optimize the utilization of constraint resources to improve flow and throughput.
- PMO (Project Management Office) & Governance
- Centrally manage and monitor mid-level project planning and execution.
- Track project status, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely closure.
- Implement standardized project management processes including change control and stakeholder communication.
