Position:        Sr. Executive - Project Purchase

Location:         Ahmedabad

Experience:      4 - 6 Years

Industries:       Pharma - Formulation

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end procurement of Capex and operational purchases at the plant(s).
• Handle project / capex purchases including major equipment, plant & machinery for vaccine manufacturing.
• Develop and apply vendor selection criteria and manage the vendor qualification & onboarding process.
• Issue RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation); evaluate vendor responses.
• Prepare commercial comparison sheets, perform price analysis and recommend best-value vendor.
• Manage import logistics, custom clearance, duties and TDS compliance in coordination with finance/logistics.
• Coordinate with engineering, projects, operations and quality teams to ensure equipment meets specs, delivery schedules and commissioning.
• Monitor procurement spend vs budget, track savings opportunities, and report deviations to management.
• Maintain supplier performance tracking (delivery, quality, service) and drive continual improvement.
• Must have handled a similar role in a manufacturing environment (ideally biotech/pharma/vaccine industry) and be comfortable with both project and routine operational purchasing.

Requirements : 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability.
• Knowledge of Pharma products, Negotiating skills.
• Must be fluent in English and familiar with MS Word, Excel, Power point .

Required Qualification: -B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary :- Upto 10.00 LPA
