Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to real estate and construction projects.
- Draft, review agreement of sale & Deed of Conveyance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, development, and construction matters.
- Handle disputes and litigation related to real estate and construction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate legal risks.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and update policies accordingly.
- Conduct due diligence and manage transaction documentation for property acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate and construction law.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions, construction contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
