Job Title: Pharma Recruiter

Experience Required: 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health-care recruitment

Job Summary:


The Pharma Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for pharmaceutical roles, building strong talent pipelines, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and aligning recruitment strategies with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle of pharmaceutical recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand position requirements and develop targeted search strategies
  • Use a range of sourcing channels—including job boards, social media, and networking events—to identify and attract top pharmaceutical talent
  • Evaluate resumes, interview candidates, and assess fit for various positions in research, development, sales, regulatory, and manufacturing
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Negotiate job offers, coordinate background checks, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, etc.) and prepare regular reports for management
  • Stay updated with pharmaceutical industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent movement
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience recruiting for pharmaceutical or bio-techorganizations, either agency or in-house
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical roles, technical requirements, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with ATS/HRIS and common sourcing platforms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
