Position: Dy. Manager – HSE
Location: Pardi

Responsibilities:
- HSE Governance & Group Alignment
- Implement and sustain group-level HSE policies, directives, and initiatives at the site.
- Develop annual site HSE objectives aligned with group strategy and site business goals.
- Prepare, monitor, and report site HSE KPIs to the local management and group.
- Legal and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable EHS HSE legislations including the Factories Act,
- Environmental Protection Act, Pollution Control Board norms, and Central Ground Water Authority requirements.
- Maintain statutory records, permits, and licenses, and ensure timely renewals and submission of returns.
- Liaise with government departments and statutory authorities during inspections and audits.
- Health & Safety Management
- Implement and maintain Health & Safety programs
- Lead regular risk assessments (HIRA, JSA, etc.) and ensure corrective & preventive actions are implemented.
- Lead the Site Safety Committee and ensure a proactive safety culture through behaviour-based safety programs.
- Investigate all incidents, identify root causes, ensure implementation of corrective & preventive actions.
- Oversee safe work practices for employees, contractors, and visitors within the plant.
- Analyse performance data to drive strategic improvements
- Continuously improve site HSE systems through Kaizen and risk-based initiatives.
- Environment Management
- Implement and maintain environmental management systems in line with ISO 14001 and group sustainability standards.
- Manage environmental programs and sustainability initiatives
- Manage hazardous materials and hazardous waste handling
- Coordinate and support environmental audits (Ecovadis, others ...).
- Monitor and control emissions, effluents, waste disposal, and resource consumption in compliance with statutory limits.
- Drive initiatives on energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste minimization.
- Training & Awareness
- Develop training content and execute the annual HSE training plan covering all employees and contractors.
- Conduct induction, refresher, and emergency response training sessions.
- Promote HSE awareness and ownership through campaigns, safety weeks, and communication Programs.
- Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Develop, maintain and periodically update the On-Site Emergency Plan.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure adequate readiness for fire, chemical, and natural hazards.
- Audit & Inspections
- Monitor workplace conditions and conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards
- Lead site-level HSE internal audits and coordinate external and group audits.
- Track audit findings, analyse trends, and drive closure of corrective actions.
- Health & Wellbeing
- Develop and implement health & wellbeing programs related to ergonomics, physical and mental health aspects
- Conduct periodic health and wellbeing surveys
- Contractor Safety
- Monitor contractor activities by performing regular checks to support the organisation on contractor compliance
Required Skills:
- 100% compliance with statutory and regulatory HSE requirements (Factory Act, Pollution Control Board, CGWA, etc.).
- Timely and accurate submission of all HSE KPI dashboards.
- Effective implementation of group HSE directives and closure of audit findings.
- Zero major accidents or statutory non-compliances.
- Continuous improvement in site HSE performance metrics (Safety Walks, TRIR, LTI, near-miss etc.).
- Completion of all internal, external, and group HSE audits (including ISO 14001 and EcoVadis) as per schedule.
- Implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives (waste, energy, and water reduction) and effective management of Hazardous waste.
- Execution of planned HSE training calendar and improvement in safety awareness scores.
Required Qualification: - Any Graduation + Any Safety Related
Salary: - Upto 16.00 LPA
