Excise Executive

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, organize, and supervise all civil and structural works for greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects.

• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules.

• Review and approve civil engineering drawings, layouts, and designs.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.

2. Site Management

• Oversee day-to-day site activities related to civil and infrastructure works.

• Ensure work execution as per approved design, quality standards, and safety norms.

• Conduct inspections and resolve on-site technical issues.

• Manage foundation works for process equipment, storage tanks, ETP/STP, utilities, etc.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and company safety standards.

• Coordinate with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) for compliance with chemical industry regulations.

• Verify material testing, concrete strength reports, and vendor quality certifications.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare civil budgets and monitor expenses against approved costs.

• Optimize resources and control wastage in materials and manpower.

• Review and certify contractors’ bills and progress reports.

5. Maintenance & Infrastructure Support

• Oversee maintenance of plant roads, drains, stormwater systems, buildings, and other infrastructure.

• Support operations team with civil modifications and repairs as required.

• Ensure timely upkeep of civil assets during plant shutdowns and overhauls.
