Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven candidate for the post of Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our day to day commercial operations, manufacturing processes, sales & distribution, procurement, administration, managing & monitoring a diverse team, quality of the products, safety & security of workplace, staff, environment and many other day to day task...

Location: Blantyre, Malawi.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Key Responsibilities  Operations Management: Oversee the entire process from start to finish of production, sales, admin, accounts, logistics, branches, HR & Finance and enhance the performance and activities of each department.  Process Improvement: Analyze operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives and minimize costs.  Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise operations and HOD. This includes tracking staffing requirements, assisting with hiring and training, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and professional development.  Quality Control & Compliance: Establish and monitor quality standards and control methodologies. Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations.
 Budget & Resource Management: Manage operational budgets and forecasts, ensuring expenses remain within approved limits. Optimize the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.  Coordination: Coordinate with all the Heads of Department on daily basis to achieve the set targets and improvement on all key areas of operations.  Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics, identify areas of underperformance, and provide regular, detailed updates and reports to senior management.  Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. Required Skills and Qualifications  Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field required. A Master's degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications.  Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing company, with at least 3 years at high management position.  Leadership: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams.  Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using data analysis tools, Microsoft Office Suite & Tally.  Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.  Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.  Attention to Detail: A keen eye for details and excellent communication skill required to ensure the operations of the company runs smoothly, business growth achieved with data evidence and plans in place for continues improvement.
