Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounts Executive with 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with leading accounting software, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation abilities. Candidates with a Gujarati background will be given preference.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain and manage accurate books of accounts on a day-to-day basis.

  • Handle general ledger accounting, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

  • Ensure timely posting of all accounting transactions and maintain supporting documentation.

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

  • Manage payroll accounting and statutory compliance as per applicable standards.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and MIS summaries on a periodic basis.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

  • Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits.

3. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

  • Support compliance with local tax regulations, VAT filings, and other statutory requirements.

  • Maintain proper internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets.

4. Software & Systems

  • Work proficiently on accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, QuickBooks, ERP systems, and SAP.

  • Assist in system implementation, migration, and automation of accounting processes where applicable.

5. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (auditors, vendors, clients, etc.) for financial matters.

  • Present financial reports and analyses effectively to management.

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills in English; Gujarati language skills will be an added advantage.


Required Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA (Finance/Accounting) or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter).

  • Experience: 5–7 years of relevant experience with a mid-tier recognized CA firm, BPO, or KPO.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, Odoo, QuickBooks, ERP, SAP, and MS Excel.

  • Other Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals, good analytical mindset, and keen attention to detail.

  • Age Preference: 27 to 35 years.
