Job Description:

 

Position Overview:
The Executive – Construction plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating site activities, assisting in resource planning, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and schedule standards. The role is pivotal in maintaining efficient communication among internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support the smooth delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Coordination
 Support the day-to-day execution of construction activities in line with project timelines, drawings, and specifications.
 Assist in preparing and updating construction schedules and weekly work plans in coordination with senior site personnel.
 Monitor daily progress and report deviations to the Construction Manager.
Site & Team Support
 Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure effective resource deployment and task completion.
 Assist in resolving minor on-site issues and escalate critical matters for timely intervention.
Documentation & Reporting
 Maintain accurate project records including daily site reports, manpower logs, material tracking, and progress documentation.
 Contribute to preparation of internal reports and client updates as directed by the project leadership.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
 Coordinate site inspections and ensure that construction activities adhere to approved quality standards and drawings.
 Support implementation of corrective actions where non-conformities are identified.

Health, Safety & Environment
 Actively promote and enforce site safety standards in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
 Participate in safety toolbox talks, audits, and incident reporting procedures.
Procurement & Cost Monitoring
 Assist in tracking material deliveries and usage, ensuring timely availability and optimal utilization.
 Coordinate with procurement and store teams to reconcile material consumption and support vendor follow-ups.
Stakeholder Coordination
 Serve as a liaison between site teams, consultants, and vendors for operational matters.
 Support communication and coordination during site visits, client inspections, and third-party interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:
 Diploma or Bachelor`s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction project execution or site coordination.
 Sound understanding of construction drawings, project workflows, and quality/safety protocols.
 Proficiency in MS Office, Auto CAD, and basic project tracking software (e.g., MS Project).
 Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Work Environment:
 Primarily site-based, with occasional coordination visits to the corporate office or project consultants.
 May require travel based on project location and phase.
