Supply Chain Manager

Job Description:

Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced supply chain manager to ensure our supply chain and
operations function properly. In this role, you’ll collaborate with other departments, such as Inventory and
Finance, to create effective business plans

Job ResponsibilitiesInclude
i. Negotiate with the vendors and Maximize the benefits or discounts
ii. Responsible for keeping track of the stock situation with the brand and the distributor and ensure
right stocking
iii. Maintain excellent relationship with the vendor and distributor, getting critical market intelligence
about competition, stocks etc. and also get better support
iv. Promote and develop tight integration between planning, logistics and
other operations areas and optimize performance in schedule attainment, adherence and on time
delivery
v. Responsible for the demand planning and forecast support to maintain healthy inventory levels
across all geographies to ensure business continuity.
vi. Establish a reporting system with clear analysis, KPIs and dashboards to keep all stakeholders
apprised of operational status and areas of concern.
vii. Lead and develop a continuous process improvement program by identifying and establishing yearly
goals to make the supply chain department more proactive and efficient.
viii. Manage the supply chain team to support all business needs.
ix. Optimize supply chain costs and ensure growth in operational efficiencies including implementation
of digital tools/automation for the function
x. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
xi. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
xii. Manage and minimise the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or
interrupt the supply chain
xiii. Develop and implement an effective strategic supply chain strategy

Key Performance Indicators:
1) Previous experience in handling Cash to Cash Cycle
2) Fill Rate
3) Inventory days of supply
4) Dayssales outstanding
5)Inventory turnover
6)Inventory Velocity

Qualification:
MBA from top management institutes (Top 20), Engineering in UG preferred

Experience Level:
1. 10 -12+ years of work experience in Retail/Consumer Goods/Consumer durables Supply chain

Competencies:
1. In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.,)
2. Detailed knowledge of planning, purchasing and logistics processes and practices.
3. Experience managing and developing brand operations and supply chain teams
4. Demonstrated success in challenging and ambiguous business situations.
5. Excellent financial and analytical acumen
