Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Project Incharge will be responsible for end-to-end supervision, execution, and delivery of building structure works for Way Side Amenities projects. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with contractors & consultants, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion as per approved designs and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Supervision

  • Lead the execution of civil and structural works for building components of WSA projects.

  • Review and interpret architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, and service drawings.

  • Ensure construction activities are completed as per approved GFC drawings and specifications.

  • Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.

2. Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution.

  • Conduct site meetings to resolve technical or execution-related issues.

  • Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work quantities.

3. Quality Control & Safety

  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards for concrete, steel, masonry, finishes, and services.

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures at site.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory norms.

4. Planning & Documentation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

  • Track material consumption and raise requisitions as required.

  • Ensure proper documentation of site records, inspection reports, DPRs, and quality logs.

5. Liaison & Compliance

  • Liaison with local authorities (if required) for permissions and inspections.

  • Ensure project compliance with company standards, environmental norms, and regulatory guidelines.

6. Finishing & Handover

  • Oversee finishing works such as flooring, painting, façade, MEP services, plumbing & sanitary fittings.

  • Conduct snagging and de-snagging activities.

  • Ensure smooth handover of completed WSA facility.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of building construction, structural works, and finishing activities.

  • Experience in WSA / commercial buildings / highway amenities / hospitality structures preferred.

  • Good understanding of MEP coordination.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple vendors and manage a fast-paced project environment.


Qualification:

  • B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.

  • Additional certification in construction management is an added advantage.
