SITE ENGINEER

Job Description:

Role Summary

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring project quality, safety, and timelines. The role requires coordination with contractors, vendors, and the project management team to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications.

• Monitor daily progress, contractor work, and labour management.

• Ensure quality control across all construction stages (civil, finishing, masonry, RCC, etc.).

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors for smooth workflow.

• Maintain site measurements, material usage records, and work progress reports.

• Ensure timely availability of materials and follow up with suppliers.

• Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free site environment.

• Verify and check contractor bills based on actual site work.

• Assist in planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering.

• 1–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in residential or commercial projects.

• Good knowledge of drawings, quality standards, and construction materials.

• Strong site supervision, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, site reporting, and basic measurement tools.

• Ability to handle contractors and maintain timelines.
