Job Description:
Our Client is a leading e-commerce distributor on reputed marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Jiomart, Zepto and Blinkit.
The firm deals in more than 2000 products and has more than 50 marketplace warehouses registered with GST registration in more than 10 states. The annual sales turnover of the firm is Rs 30 crores. The firm has been growing at the fast pace and has a revenue jump of 30% on an annual basis
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of the e-commerce business across multiple marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and others. The role involves managing product listings, inventory, logistics, order fulfillment, returns, and coordination with vendors and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily functioning and growth of online sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketplace Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operations on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart, and other platforms.
- Ensure product listings, pricing, and stock levels are accurate and updated.
- Monitor and optimize fulfillment processes (through their warehouses).
- Handle order processing, dispatch, delivery tracking, and return management.
- Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Maintain optimal stock levels across platforms and warehouses.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and warehouse staff for restocking and dispatch.
- Track slow-moving or high-demand SKUs to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Performance Monitoring & Analytics
- Monitor sales performance, order volumes, and platform health metrics (Buy Box %, order defect rate, late dispatch rate, etc.).
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales, margins, and operational efficiency.
- Track sales incentives and create working of monthly credit notes
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Vendor & Logistics Management
- Liaise with courier partners and 3PL logistics providers for timely delivery and return pickups.
- Ensure cost-efficient shipping and negotiate better logistics terms when needed.
- Manage claims, reimbursements, and reconciliation of accounts with platforms.
- Team & Coordination
- Supervise and train a small team handling catalog, dispatch, and customer service.
- Coordinate with marketing, finance, and product teams to support business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce operations, preferably with Amazon or Flipkart sellers.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and other marketplace dashboards.
- Experience managing FBA / Easy Ship/logistics workflows.
- Strong analytical and Excel/reporting skills.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics and seller operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and marketplace tools.
- Effective communication and vendor management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
