Job Description:
A Civil Site Incharge is responsible for supervising and managing all daily construction activities on a project site to ensure it is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key duties include coordinating with engineers and workers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing resources, and resolving on-site issues.
Key responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Oversee and manage all day-to-day construction activities to ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and various contractors and subcontractors.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards or violations.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate on-site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project schedules.
- Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards. Monitor workmanship and take corrective action when necessary.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any on-site issues, delays, or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports on project status, costs, and quality control.
- Meetings: Conduct regular site meetings with relevant parties to discuss progress, coordinate activities, and update stakeholders.
