Qualification:
-
M.A. in History
-
B.Ed. mandatory (preferred for CBSE/ICSE schools)
Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level
Responsibilities:
-
Teach History to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
-
Cover Ancient, Medieval & Modern History, along with historiography concepts
-
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects & assignments
-
Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress
-
Prepare students for board exams and guide them on answer-writing techniques
-
Create an engaging classroom environment using stories, timelines & visuals
-
Participate in staff meetings, PTMs and school academic activities
-
Stay updated with syllabus changes, teaching methods and reference books
Skills Required:
-
Strong subject knowledge in World & Indian History
-
Good communication & narrative teaching style
-
Classroom management and student engagement skills
-
Familiarity with digital teaching tools (preferred)
