Job Description:

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Act as primary liaison between Zitron India and all suppliers/vendorsinvolved in assigned purchases and coordinate with other departments. • Preparing Purchase Order (PO) for Vendors, Challans, E-Way bills, prepare Packing-List for Dispatch, organizing end-to-end logistics, local purchases, visiting vendors/fabricators and follow-up etc. • Liaisoning and coordinating with CHA (Customs House Agent), clearing of imported items etc. • Analyze the technical requirements of full ventilation system projects including controls, drives and motors and advise on the best technical and commercial solutions. • Manage purchases in Manesar/NCR/other area suppliers, steel, laser cutting, painting procedures, galvanizing and other components for manufacturing. • Sourcing and Procurement of all critical project components. • Ensuring global supply chain strategy is implemented wherever suitable. • Ensure all purchase orders are placed with "approved suppliers" to achieve the best possible commercial terms on costs, progress payments and payment terms while ensuring the full scope of supply is in accordance with the contractual requirements. • Negotiation of the best prices, contract terms & conditions. • Measure the performance of and develop existing suppliers to deliver continuous improvement by employing the best practices to achieve cost reduction and improved quality and delivery performance. • Work as part of a combined commercial, technical & quality team to assess new suppliers for capability to manufacture products required at competitive rates, to the required quality requirements and within the recognized lead time. • Facilitate visits to suppliers by clients, client representatives and Zitron personnel. • Assist Sales & Proposals in the preparation of budget costs and delivery lead-times. • Update project/contract status and forecast costs on the company ERP systems. • Ensure all necessary compliances are taken care of within stipulated timelines. Qualifications/Experiences and Skills & Competencies Discipline: Technical Procurement & Logistics Location: IMT Manesar, Gurgaon Position: Sr. Engineer/ Asst. or Dy. Manager Report To: Managing Director & CEO • B. Tech. degree (or equivalent) degree in Engineering/related field. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Technical Purchasing Engineering role evidencing similar job responsibilities and outcomes. • Excellent command in English Language, both written & verbal. • Open to learning and multitasking. • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills. • Decision making skills including knowledge of varying decision-making styles & their appropriateness. • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Software including; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project. • Flexible attitude towards changing priorities. • Problem Solving by choosing a course of action, developing appropriate solutions/ conclusions. Desirable skills: • Experience living or working in IMT Manesar, Gurgaon/ NCR, will be a plus
