Job Description:
Role & responsibilities
Inbound & Outbound Supply
- To ensure all the local and import material supplies are documented, GRN processed and
proper acknowledgment on a daily basis
- To ensure timely & accurate issuance as per material orders received for Project
requirements to the Production Team in the factory
- To ensure timely dispatches & delivery as per the project / client requirements to the
designated location
- Cost effective management of fleet including repairs & maintenance
Inventory Management and Cost Control
- Ensure implementation of effective inventory management policies and procedures.
- Ensure that accurate inventory records, including stock levels, product descriptions are
maintained.
- Ensure daily physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure timely flow of information to Procurement Team on ageing stocks
- Ensure implementation of effective controls to minimize Loss Notes and that it is within laid
out norms
- Adherence to MIS & reporting ( Daily / Weekly / Monthly, etc) as per requirements
- SOPs & ensure adherence
Shrinkage Control:
- Identify and investigate causes of shrinkage, including theft, damage, and operational
errors.
- Analyze shrinkage data to identify patterns and implement proactive measures to minimize
losses. Implement loss prevention measures, such as security systems, employee training,
and regular audits and ensure Shrinkages are minimized
Ensuring across the warehouse:
- Warehouse Hygiene Ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules, security, and overall
warehouse upkeep & maintenance.
- Monitoring of all Materials / Product issue Note (GIN) / Purchase Requisition Note (PRN)
/GATE PASS made for the day and document tracking.
- Expiry Checks Submitting the weekly / monthly expiry reports to the factory manager
Preferred candidate profile
5 years of relevant work experience in Inventory, Warehouse & Logistics
Management including 5 years of managerial role. Exposure in a furnishing factory
environment will be a value addition.
• Bachelors in Engineering preferred
• Hands-on, execution-focused, and resilient in fast-moving environments.
• Effective managerial, team management and communication skills.
• Adaptability & Flexibility
• Analytical & Problem Solving skills
• Effective MS excel skills
