Job Summary

Client is looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser who will be responsible for in-store display planning, VM execution, inventory coordination, and store presentation management across Shoppers Stop locations.
The role involves handling product display standards, stock planning, visual storytelling, space optimization, and ensuring brand identity is represented consistently at all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising

Plan & execute brand visual displays and mannequin styling at Shoppers Stop stores.

Create attractive and effective displays to enhance customer experience & conversion.

Implement VM guidelines based on collections, seasons, festivals, and promotions.

Conduct regular store visits to ensure display consistency & high brand standards.

Style mannequins based on collection themes, trends, bestsellers, and looks.

Coordinate store-level VM launches during new collection rollouts.


Inventory & Stock Management

Track inventory levels and ensure correct stock visibility at stores.

Analyse fast/slow-moving products and recommend stock transfers.

Coordinate replenishment & dispatch with warehouse and retail teams.

Maintain size availability and prevent stock-out situations.


Store Operations & Coordination

Work closely with store managers & Shoppers Stop team for VM execution.

Ensure correct tagging, pricing, layout, and in-store signages.

Monitor overall store presentation, hygiene, and display maintenance.

Create display reports and weekly audits with photos & performance insights.


Data & Reporting

Prepare weekly VM performance reports.

Evaluate display impact on walk-ins, conversions & product visibility.

Provide feedback to design & merchandising team based on customer behaviour trends.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years experience in Visual Merchandising / Retail Fashion / Apparel stores.

Strong styling sense & visual creativity aligned with Indian fashion trends.

Good understanding of inventory management & retail store operations.

Strong communication, ownership, coordination & problem-solving ability.

Willingness to travel frequently to different store locations.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple stores simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large format stores (Shoppers Stop / Lifestyle / Pantaloons etc.).

Knowledge of ethnic & fusion wear category preferred.
