Sales Executive
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Market Visits
-
Conduct daily field visits to potential clients such as manufacturers, exporters, importers, traders, and logistics users.

Identify new business opportunities through market research, industrial area visits, and networking.

Approach new leads, explain company services, and convert prospects into active clients.
2. Sales Presentations & Negotiation
-
Understand client requirements related to freight forwarding, consolidation, customs clearance, and transportation.
-
Present service offerings, share rate quotations, and negotiate pricing.
-
Follow up consistently to close deals and secure bookings.
3. Relationship Management
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating with operations, documentation, and customer service teams.

Provide regular shipment updates and resolve basic client issues when required.
4. Revenue & Target Achievement
-
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management.
-
Track all client visits, leads, quotations, and conversions in the sales report / CRM.

Continuously work on expanding the company’s customer base.
5. Market Intelligence
-
Monitor competitor activities, freight rates, and market trends.
-
Share feedback with the management to support pricing and strategy decisions.
Skills
-
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
-
Ability to build rapport quickly with clients during in-person meetings.

Good understanding of logistics, shipping, freight forwarding (preferred).
-
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working on field assignments.
-
Good presentation skills and basic computer proficiency (Excel, Email, WhatsApp communication, etc.).
-
Should be open to travel within the assigned territory on a daily basis
