Location: Manali, Himachal Pradesh
Organisation: Vivaan Stays – Boutique Hospitality Chain (7 properties across Kullu–Manali)

Vivaan Stays is a leading hyper-local boutique hospitality brand in the Kullu–Manali region, operating seven well-rated small and mid-sized hotels. Known for our personalised service, strong regional presence, and consistent guest experience, we are now strengthening our leadership team with a seasoned Group Manager.

Role Overview

The Group Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations, P&L, and commercial performance of all 7 properties. Each hotel has an on-site manager who reports to the Group Manager. The role also leads centralised functions such as purchase, marketing, branding, revenue management, and quality control.

This is a Manali-based position with occasional travel to Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat for business development and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Supervise daily operations of all properties through local property managers.
    • Ensure consistent service quality across housekeeping, front office, F&B, maintenance, and guest relations.
  • P&L & Financial Management:
    • Full responsibility for group-level profitability.
    • Monitor budgets, optimise costs, and drive revenue performance across properties.
  • Marketing & Revenue Management:
    • Oversee online channels such as MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Goibibo, and others.
    • Manage pricing, inventory, promotions, and brand visibility.
    • Lead offline sales efforts including travel agents, corporate tie-ups, and regional promotions.
  • Centralised Functions:
    • Streamline procurement and vendor management for all properties.
    • Anchor brand development, digital presence, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Team Management:
    • Guide and mentor property managers and central staff.
    • Build a culture of accountability, training, and service excellence.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years in hospitality operations, with exposure to multi-property or cluster roles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including:
    • Front Office
    • Housekeeping
    • Food & Beverage
    • Purchase & Inventory
    • Revenue Management & OTA platforms
  • Experience with reputed hotel chains is desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English and Hindi.
    • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, PMS/Channel Managers).
    • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Understanding of local Himachal or hill-destination markets is a plus.
