Job Description:
Position : Production Manager - FIBC
Gender : Male
Experience : 10–15 years of hands-on experience in FIBC/technical textile manufacturing.
Salary Budget : 12.00 LPA to 15.00 LPA
Location : Daman
Core Responsibilities :
- Monitor and control day-to-day operations of the Tape Plant and Looms, ensuring consistent quality and production output.
- Apply all required technical formulas and parameters for running Tape Plant and Loom machines effectively.
- Plan daily and weekly production based on BOM, order priorities, and machine capacities.
- Coordinate with Cutting, Printing, Stitching, QA, and Maintenance teams for smooth production flow.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower across all shifts and maintain productivity levels.
- Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of extrusion lines, looms, stitching machines, and utilities.
- Prepare, execute, and report on machine PMS schedules.
- Monitor product quality, reduce rejections, and minimize waste across production stages.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, statutory compliance, and customer audit requirements (ISO, BRC, etc.).
- Track key KPIs such as loom efficiency, OEE, downtime, waste percentages, and cost per bag.
- Maintain accurate production MIS and weekly reporting using ERP and other systems.
- Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and layout improvements.
- Handle small plant-related projects including electrical, plumbing, and pipeline modifications.
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain strong industry relationships for machinery, spares, and technical support.
- Establish clear reporting structures and maintain regular communication with senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Textile, Industrial, or Plastic Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of Lohia/Narumon looms, Extrusion lines, and other FIBC machinery.
- Experience managing a workforce of 100+ across multiple shifts.
- Proficiency in production MIS, ERP tools, and cost-control systems.
- Ability to manage factory audits and maintain compliance with global standards (ISO/BRC).
- Strong vendor management capability and problem-solving skills.
