UI/UX Developer

Job Description:

 Role Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Developer to translate product and design requirements into intuitive, responsive and high-quality mobile experiences. The role will work closely with the Mobile App Developer and Engineering Manager and will be particularly important for customer-facing FinTech and premium healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate wireframes, mockups and product requirements into polished mobile UI experiences.
• Develop responsive, reusable and consistent UI components.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and QA teams to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation.
• Contribute to user flows, interaction patterns, prototypes and usability improvements.
• Ensure consistency across screens, devices and application states.
• Optimize UI performance and responsiveness across supported devices.
• Support accessibility, usability and cross-device compatibility.
• Participate in design reviews, usability discussions and iterative product improvements.
• Work with developers to identify and resolve UI implementation gaps and visual defects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in UI/UX development or closely related mobile product design/implementation roles.
• Strong understanding of mobile-first UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with Figma or equivalent design/prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of design systems, components, typography, spacing and interaction patterns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with mobile developers and translate designs into implementable specifications.
• Understanding of usability, accessibility and cross-platform design considerations.
• Strong visual attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Good to Have

• Experience designing or implementing FinTech journeys such as onboarding, lending, payments or dashboards.
• Healthcare product experience.
• Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript or mobile UI development knowledge.
• Experience conducting usability testing or analysing product analytics.

Domain Context

The team supports technology products for FinTech and healthcare clients. Relevant exposure may include digital lending, payments, financial workflows, enterprise healthcare applications, sensitive data and high-reliability production environments.

Working Model

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and works as part of a lean, cross-functional mobile engineering team. Collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, UI/UX and product stakeholders is expected.
